Young Bucks vs. Top Flight, Keith Lee vs. Powerhouse Hobbs set for AEW Rampage
This Friday’s loaded night of pro wrestling continued to get a little more packed as The Young Bucks vs. Top Flight and Keith Lee vs. Powerhouse Hobbs were announced for AEW Rampage.
Through social media, Dante and Darius Martin first got the attention of the Bucks several years ago which led to them being signed by AEW. The two teams have squared off before on a November 2020 edition Dynamite with the Bucks picking up the win. Friday’s match will kick off the show.
The show’s featured match will be Keith Lee taking on Powerhouse Hobbs for the first time. The two have been at odds for week as Team Taz has targeted Lee since he debuted.
Based out of last week’s Rampage, the House of Black will take on Fuego Del Sol and Dark Order’s Evil Uno and Stu Grayson. Del Sol called out Malakai Black, Brody King and Buddy Matthews last week and then got beat up for his trouble. Dark Order then came out confront the HOB to set Friday up.
In the second Owen Hart Tournament women’s qualifying match, Jamie Hayter will take on Skye Blue.
A hopeful for the tournament — Kris Statlander — will also speak publicly for the first time since her recent character change.
