Young Bucks update following AEW Tag Team title loss

In the new issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer provided an update on The Young Bucks following their AEW Tag Team title loss.
The Young Bucks dropped the AEW Tag Team titles to Private Party on Fright Night Dynamite this Wednesday. Nick Jackson worked the match despite having a separated shoulder that’s been bothering him for weeks. Meltzer notes that The Young Bucks will be taking some time off from AEW programming before returning to feud with Jon Moxley’s faction, which has been wreaking havoc in AEW.
The Young Bucks did an angle after dropping the tag titles to Private Party where they were shredding papers and left to ‘work at home.’ The idea is that Moxley’s group has caused so much chaos that it’s unsafe and they don’t want to get involved, with the idea of eventually coming back and saving AEW. Nick has a separated shoulder and has been working on it for weeks. There is no set timetable for a return past it’ll be for a while, and they aren’t scheduled for the Full Gear show [on November 23]. It’ll be no longer than January since they are confirmed for the joint AEW & NJPW show at the Tokyo [Dome] on 1/5.
Nick & Matt Jackson had been AEW Tag Team Champions since April before losing the belts to Private Party. This is Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen’s first title reign in AEW.
The match on Wednesday had a stipulation where Private Party would have had to split up if they lost.
