World title defense announced for ROH TV
A World Championship match is set to air on this week’s episode of Ring of Honor television.
On ROH TV this Thursday night, Claudio Castagnoli will put his ROH World Championship on the line against Metalik (Mascara Dorada). The episode airs on HonorClub starting at 7 p.m. Eastern time.
Castagnoli is coming off a successful title defense against Eddie Kingston at Supercard of Honor. He’s held the ROH World title since defeating Chris Jericho at Final Battle last December.
Metalik was part of an ROH Six-Man Tag Team title match at Supercard of Honor. The Embassy (Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona) defeated Metalik, AR Fox & Blake Christian to retain the titles.
The matches airing on this Thursday’s ROH TV were taped in Rhode Island at AEW Rampage/Battle of the Belts VI last week.
