World title eliminator match added to AEW Rampage

A change has been made to Friday’s AEW Rampage lineup.
An originally announced Blackpool Combat Club vs. Jericho Appreciation Society tag team bout will instead be a Jon Moxley vs. Matt Menard World title eliminator match. If Menard beats Moxley, he will earn a future AEW World Championship match.
AEW made the announcement on Thursday after Wheeler Yuta was double booked for both Friday’s live Rampage, as well as Friday’s NJPW Rumble on 44th Street pay-per-view. Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli had been set to take on Menard and Angelo Parker in a tag contest.
In a video promo, Yuta stated that he made the NJPW commitment first, and that the BCC always honor their commitments. Yuta will team with Homicide and Shota Umino against Tom Lawlor, Jorel Nelson, and Royce Isaacs of Team Filthy at Rumble on 44th Street.
