Women’s title match added to AEW Dynamite anniversary episode

Another title match has been added to the card for AEW Dynamite’s one-year anniversary.

It was announced today that Hikaru Shida will defend her AEW Women’s Championship against Big Swole on Dynamite next Wednesday (October 14). The AEW World Championship, Tag Team titles, and TNT Championship will also be on the line on the anniversary episode. Jon Moxley is defending the AEW World Championship against Lance Archer, FTR are defending their AEW Tag Team titles against Best Friends, and Cody is defending the TNT Championship against Orange Cassidy.

Swole was in action on Dynamite this week, defeating Serena Deeb. Swole also defeated Skyler Moore on AEW Dark this week.

Shida has been AEW Women’s Champion since winning the title from Nyla Rose at Double or Nothing this May. Her most recent title defense was against Thunder Rosa at All Out last month. Swole defeated Britt Baker in a Tooth and Nail match at All Out.

Kip Sabian & Miro teaming together in tag team action is also set for next Wednesday’s Dynamite anniversary episode. Plus, MJF is promising that he will make “a career-defining announcement.”
