Women’s Championship number one contender’s match set for AEW Dynamite

A number one contender’s match for the AEW Women’s Championship is set for Dynamite.

Toni Storm was interviewed on Saturday’s Collision, where Renee Paquette announced that Storm will face the winner between Saraya and Riho on Wednesday at AEW Worlds End on December 30. Storm didn’t have a preference on who she would face, saying she’ll let them go at it.

Roderick Strong will also be in action, taking on Komander. As Komander was being interviewed on Saturday, he was interrupted by Roderick Strong, saying Komander lost while he and Matt Taven are former television champions. He issued the challenge, with Komander saying he’d see Strong on Wednesday.

MJF & Samoa Joe will also appear on Wednesday’s show. It will be the first time MJF has appeared since being taken out backstage two weeks ago with a bottle to the back of the head, presumably by the devil & his group that has stalked MJF and people associated with MJF for the last several months.

The lineup for AEW Dynamite Holiday Bash set for Wednesday, December 20:

  • Continental Classic Gold League: Jon Moxley (12 points) vs. Jay White (9 points)
  • Continental Classic Gold League: Swerve Strickland (9 points) vs. Rush (6 points)
  • Continental Classic Gold League: Mark Briscoe (0 points) vs. Jay Lethal (0 points)
  • Winner gets AEW Women’s Championship match at Worlds End: Saraya vs. Riho
  • Roderick Strong v.s Komander
  • We’ll hear from MJF & Samoa Joe
