Will Ospreay vs. Brian Cage booked for next week’s AEW Dynamite
Will Ospreay will return to action for the first time in three weeks on next Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.
Ospreay vs. Brian Cage of Murder Machines/The Don Callis Family was announced for the Wednesday, January 29 Dynamite following an angle on this week’s show.
Callis and his Family interrupted a face-to-face showdown between Ospreay and Kenny Omega in Wednesday’s opening segment. The ensuing brawl led to a tag team match with Ospreay and Omega facing Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher at Grand Slam Australia next month, plus the Ospreay vs. Cage singles bout for next week.
Ospreay last wrestled on the January 8 Dynamite, defeating Buddy Matthews in singles competition.
Also announced for next week’s Dynamite, Jeff Jarrett will face Claudio Castagnoli of The Death Riders. Should Jarrett win, he will be granted an AEW World title shot against Jon Moxley.
