Will Ospreay, Aussie Open to make AEW in-ring debuts on Rampage

Former IWGP World Champion Will Ospreay will make his AEW debut this Friday on Rampage alongside fellow United Empire members Aussie Open.

They will take on ROH Tag Team Champions FTR and Trent Beretta in six-man tag team action.

As FTR and Beretta were discussing a rematch with Roppongi Vice in the ring, the United Empire music hit and Ospreay came out on the stage. He then signaled and Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) and Aaron Henare came through the crowd to lay out all three men, joined by Ospreay. It was the on-screen debut for all four men.

Eddie Kingston will take on Jake Hager following Wednesday’s Casino Battle Royale incident where Hager cost Kingston his opportunity and then attacked him on the outside of the ring after both men were eliminated. Kingston called for the match in a backstage promo.

In another grudge match, Kris Statlander will face rival Red Velvet of the Baddies.

Jay Lethal and Satnam Singh will make their debut as a team. It will also be Singh’s first ever match.

Following their successful first outing as a team at Double or Nothing, Hook and Danhausen will have some things to say.

Here’s the lineup, taped following Wednesday’s Dynamite in Kansas City:

  • Kris Statlander vs. Red Velvet
  • FTR & Trent Beretta vs. Will Ospreay & Aussie Open
  • Satnam Singh & Jay Lethal in action
  • Jake Hager vs. Eddie Kingston
  • Hook & Danhausen promo
