Will Ospreay announced for next AEW Dynamite

Will Ospreay’s first appearance as a full-time member of the AEW roster is set for next week’s Dynamite. 

AEW revealed during Wednesday’s show that Ospreay will appear on next week’s episode in Huntsville, Alabama, the final Dynamite before the Sunday, March 3 Revolution pay-per-view. Ospreay is set to face Konosuke Takeshita in a singles match at Revolution.

The Ospreay vs. Takeshita match will be Ospreay’s first as a full-time AEW talent, and his first bout for the promotion since taking part in a six-man tag team match at last October’s WrestleDream pay-per-view.

Ospreay’s AEW signing was announced at November’s Full Gear pay-per-view, and the star wrapped up his NJPW commitments earlier this month in a 10-man steel cage match at The New Beginning in Osaka. 

Ospreay has already been announced for this year’s AEW All In at Wembley Stadium set for Sunday, August 25. At last year’s All In at Wembley, Ospreay defeated Chris Jericho in a singles match.
