Von Erichs returning to AEW during Texas residency

The Von Erichs will be part of AEW’s upcoming residency in their home state of Texas.
In partnership with the city of Arlington, AEW is heading to Esports Stadium Arlington for a residency that begins on Saturday, July 20 and ends on Saturday, August 17. The residency consists of five AEW Collision episodes, a Ring of Honor pay-per-view, and two days of ROH television tapings.
Marshall & Ross Von Erich announced on their Von Erich podcast that they’ll be returning to AEW at the Collision event on July 20. Though they didn’t know if they could reveal the other dates they’re set for, they mentioned they’ll be working the “next couple of Saturdays” after that as well.
When asked about their status with AEW, Marshall Von Erich noted that they haven’t signed full-time deals yet but have signed for some matches.
“We signed some matches,” he said. “But we’ll see what comes from this.”
Back in May, The Von Erichs said they feel like they’ll be signing with a major wrestling company soon. They indicated that they’ve had conversations with both AEW and WWE.
Marshall & Ross, the sons of Kevin Von Erich, worked Texas dates for AEW/ROH in December 2023 and February 2024. Their father appeared with them for some of those events.
The Von Erich siblings are former tag team champions for MLW.
