Cold Open —

  • Chuck Taylor looks at a Best Friends t-shirt as sad music plays in the background. He then cuts out Wheeler Yuta’s image from the shirt while looking really down.

The Young Bucks and Brandon Cutler —

  • The Young Bucks returned after a week away. They told Cutler that the ratings with him on the show were down, including the 18-49 demographic. 
  • We then saw a travel montage with the Bucks arriving in Pittsburgh for last week’s Dynamite and Rampage. 
  • The Bucks were still not in a very good mood. They weren’t wearing their heel clothes or expensive sneakers. The loss to FTR has really got them down. 

The Dark Order and Minoru Suzuki —

  • The Dark Order were shown in the back talking about the Forbidden Door PPV. Silver said he wants to face Ishii, Reynolds did a Los Ingobernables pose, and Evil Uno said he has a grudge with Toru Yano. 
  • Then they all seemed to want to face Minoru Suzuki but everyone got pretty quiet when Suzuki then walked through the scene. 

Ryan Nemeth is a leading man —

  • Nemeth talked about all the film festivals his film has played at. He also continued to brag about being undefeated in 2022. 

The Hardys and the Young Bucks —

  • The Hardys confronted the Young Bucks about how depressed they have been since losing to FTR. 
  • Matt talked about having lost to Head Cheese, the New Rockers, PG-13 and several other teams but they would always get up and move forward. 
  • Matt continued to say he wants to face the Young Bucks at their best. The Hardys then said maybe the dream match is them vs FTR. 
  • The Bucks then said maybe seeing Cutler get beat up would make them feel better. They called in Nakazawa who brought in Konosuke Takeshita. Cutler and Takeshita will wrestle on AEW Dark: Elevation on Monday’s show. 
  • We then saw a scene where Adam Cole pretended to find a strawberry sunburst candy behind Cutler’s ear. He then turned to the camera and said, “That’s magic, bay-bay!”

The Hardys list off more teams they’ve lost to

  • The final scene saw Matt and Jeff Hardy list off more teams they’ve lost to including X-Factor, The Smoking Gunns, Harris Brothers, PG-13, Headbangers, Head Cheese, Low Down and several others. 
  • Christopher Daniels then came in and talked about teams him and Kazarian have lost to. 
  • Jeff Hardy repeated, “We lost to everybody!” several times during this before the show eventually came to a close.
