VIDEO: Being The Elite – ‘Intermission’

Video —

This week on Being The Elite —

The cold open —

  • The Young Bucks and The Good Brothers opened the show with a story rather than a comedy bit. They reminded the audience of when Brandon Cutler had a car accident in the parking lot several episodes ago and how nonchalant he was about it.
  • They then told a story of Cutler accidentally slamming Don Callis’s hand in a car door and acting similarly nonchalant. Callis then appeared and showed his bruised hand. Callis explained that he does not have use of the hand currently.

The Elite —

  • Trick Shots with Nick Jackson returned this week with Nick hitting various dunks.

Dark Order —

  • The bulk of this week’s show was Dark Order content. The group discussed their tripping experience a week ago. Hangman Page was reluctant to share his vision of winning the AEW World Championship.
  • Colt Cabana hung an “intermission” sign in the Dark Order lair so that he could sell gimmicks.
  • The group decided to stage an intervention for Stu Grayson, but the intermission sign caused confusion.
  • Preston Vance thought that the intervention was for his drug use, alcohol abuse, sex addiction or steroid use, but they explained that this was for Grayson seeing Anna Jay when she isn’t really there.
  • Anna Jay made a cameo.

BTE Championship —

  • Cezar Bononi won a number one contender’s contest and will challenge Marko Stunt for the BTE Championship next week.

Miscellaneous bits —

  • Isiah Kassidy bought Matt Hardy a do-rag and helped him put it on. He also bought a do-rag for Marq Quen, but Quen didn’t like his. Hardy said he is expecting his fourth child, but he thinks he actually has six kids and wished Private Party a Happy Father’s Day.
  • This was the best episode of BTE in a long time.
