VIDEO: AEW Dark episode eight – Omega defends AAA Mega title

Kenny Omega’s first AAA Mega Championship defense headlines tonight’s episode of AEW Dark:

After winning the title from Fenix at AAA Heroes Inmortales last month, Omega puts the title on the line against Jack Evans. The match was taped at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum last Wednesday.

This is Omega’s first match since losing to Jon Moxley in the main event of Full Gear. After he defeated Joey Janela on episode two of the show, this is the second match Omega has had on AEW Dark. The Moxley and Janela matches were both unsanctioned.

Three other matches were also taped for tonight’s AEW Dark. Big Swole faces Shanna, Awesome Kong takes on Leva Bates, and Pentagon Jr. faces off with Trent Barreta.

Shawn Spears will be the guest commentator for tonight’s show.

Tomorrow’s live episode of Dynamite and AEW Dark tapings are taking place at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
