More Blue League action took place on Saturday’s Collision.

In the opening match, Claudio Castagnoli defeated Andrade El Idolo, marking Idolo’s first loss in the tournament. Eddie Kingston defeated Daniel Garcia, who remains winless, and in the main event Bryan Danielson defeated Brody King.

Following Danielson’s win, he now ties Andrade El Idolo for first place in the Blue League. However, most of the League is still open with King, Castagnoli, and Kingston all at 6 points. With zero points, Garcia has no chance of advancing to the Blue League finals.

Next week’s Collision will have Andrade El Idolo vs. Eddie Kingston, Claudio Castagnoli vs. Bryan Danielson, and Brody King vs. Daniel Garcia. The winners of these matches will determine the top two finalists, which advance to the Blue League finals on the December 27 edition of Dynamite along with the Gold League finals.

The winners of these two finals will advance to the tournament finals at AEW Worlds End on December 30. The winner of the tournament will become the first Triple Crown Champion in AEW, which will consist of the ROH World Championship, the New Japan Strong Openweight title, and the new AEW Continental Championship.
