Two matches set for next week’s AEW Rampage
Two matches have been announced for next week’s AEW Rampage episode.
Scorpio Sky will defend the TNT Championship against his former SCU teammate Frankie Kazarian. Sky had promised Kazarian a title shot several weeks ago in a backstage promo segment, then lived up to the promise on this week’s Rampage.
Sky and Kazarian were the first-ever AEW World Tag Team Champions, defeating the Lucha Brothers in a tournament final on Dynamite in October 2019 to win the belts.
Also set for next week’s Rampage, Ruby Soho will face Riho in an Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament first round matchup. Riho returned for her first match in nearly three months on this week’s show, defeating Yuka Sakazaki in a qualifier.
Next week’s Rampage will be taped on Wednesday, set to air next Friday. Next week’s start time is listed as 6 p.m. Eastern time on TNT’s website. Here is the announced lineup:
