Trios match featuring CM Punk set to main event first AEW Collision

A six-man tag will headline the first-ever episode of AEW Collision.
On Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan announced that CM Punk will team with FTR to take on the team of Jay White, Juice Robinson, and Samoa Joe on the first episode of Collision, AEW’s new two-hour television show that will premiere June 17 on TNT. This will be CM Punk’s first match since September at All Out, where he regained the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley.

Tension between Bullet Club Gold and FTR began when FTR saved Starks from an attack by Bullet Club. On last week’s Dynamite, FTR came out to confront Bullet Club, who were cutting a promo in the ring. Both teams ended up getting into a brawl, with Robinson using a handful of quarters to attack Harwood. Ricky Starks then came out for the save, setting the stage for Wednesday’s main event between Starks and White.
The first episode of AEW Collision will take place at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
