‘Travel mayhem’ affecting several wrestlers ahead of AEW Dynamite

Travel issues may cause a change of plans for AEW Dynamite.
Tony Khan revealed on social media that several wrestlers are struggling to make it to tonight’s event at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem, although everyone advertised is either already there or en route.
Khan says he held off on making further announcements for the show in anticipation of difficult travel in the region, which has been dealing with the impacts of Tropical Storm Debby.
“With flight cancellations, several AEW wrestlers are struggling to get to #AEWDynamite tonight! Thankfully everyone announced for tonight’s show is here or en route! I’ve held back other announcements anticipating travel mayhem + will change accordingly! See you on TBS tonight!”
MJF, who is scheduled to wrestle Kyle Fletcher tonight, stated yesterday that he was driving to the show due to flight cancellations.
“All flights to North Carolina have been canceled, most likely because no one in their right mind would ever want to go to that garbage state (not my America). But since I am an American Hero and I have an obligation to my country to kick Kyle Fletcher’s ass, I am currently driving 10.5 hours to give Will Ospreay a preview of Wembley,” MJF posted to X.
Anthony Bowens also revealed that The Acclaimed are “in the building.”
