Tony Khan to personally deliver his ‘big announcement’ on AEW Dynamite

For just the second time in the show’s history, AEW president Tony Khan will be appearing live on Dynamite.
With a “big announcement” set to be revealed on tonight’s Dynamite episode, Khan told SiriusXM’s Busted Open Radio today that he will be coming out to the ring and delivering the news himself. Khan noted that he will only appear on Dynamite under the most important circumstances.
“We’ve done 126 episodes so far and this is only going to be the second time I’ve ever gone out to the ring to talk on the show. The first time was obviously very different circumstances, it was the Brodie Lee tribute show,” Khan said.
“It’s only under the most important circumstances that I’ll go out there. This is a very different circumstance and a more joyous occasion, certainly, and I’m really looking forward to it this time.”
Khan said appearing on Dynamite isn’t something that he’s going to make a habit of.
While Khan didn’t provide any new details on the announcement, he continued to say he’s hopeful tonight’s Dynamite is one fans will remember for a long time.
“I think it’s going to be a massive thing. People are going to get really excited about it. I’m excited about it just talking about it” Khan said.
“Tonight’s Dynamite hopefully will be one that people remember for a long time. And it’s great to get a lot of eyeballs on the show ahead of this huge pay-per-view [Revolution] on Sunday.”
Khan said last week that the announcement isn’t just about one piece of talent but rather something that is “going to be something very important in the wrestling business.”
