Tony Khan: Timetable for Jamie Hayter’s AEW return is ‘still pending’

A timeline for Jamie Hayter’s return to the ring has still not been established.
For more than a year now, the former AEW Women’s World Champion has been out of action due to injury. Hayter’s most recent match was at Double or Nothing 2023, where she dropped the Women’s World title to Toni Storm. Hayter entered that pay-per-view with a shoulder injury and the match was kept short due to her being hurt.
Tony Khan told Uproxx this week that the timetable for Hayter’s return is “still pending.” He’d love to have Hayter — and Britt Baker — back when they are healthy.
“Dr. Britt Baker is one of our original stars and she’s been out injured for an extended period of time. I’m very eager to get Britt back here. She’s somebody that’s been part of AEW all along. And we’d love to have her back in the mix very soon,” Khan said.
“Her longtime friend, and also a former AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter has also been out for an extended period of time with injury. Jamie Hayter’s timetable is still pending. But I think having Jamie Hayter back in AEW would be fantastic. And I would love to have Jamie Hayter back working in AEW anytime and whenever she’s healthy and capable of doing it would be great for us.”
Hayter’s injury caused her to miss All In 2023 in her home country of England. It remains to be seen whether she’ll be back in time for All In 2024 this August.
Baker hasn’t wrestled since September of last year.
