Tony Khan teases ‘most important announcements in AEW history’

As he has done in the past, Tony Khan apparently has some big announcements coming.

Shortly before Saturday’s AEW Collision, Khan on X thanked people ahead of AEW’s biggest show of the year: this month’s All from London’s Wembley Stadium. He also hinted important announcements were “looming large” before plugging Saturday’s show.

One of the announcements expected soon from AEW is the status of their next TV rights deal which they are still in talks with Warner Brothers Discovery over amid reports their exclusive negotiating window is now up.

Most recently, Khan denied that the deal had been finalized and stated that AEW will have a great deal with a big increase. He also said that he had heard WWE PR was behind the rumors of their deal being done.

Khan also revealed on X that he recently took a trip to Paris to meet with David Zaslav, the head of Warner Bros. Discovery.
