Tony Khan: It’s been so great having Britt Baker back in AEW

Tony Khan was asked about Britt Baker’s suspension during a recent appearance on Barstool Rasslin’.

Baker was suspended and fined by AEW due to a confrontation with MJF and Alicia Atout backstage at the 250th edition of Dynamite. When asked about Baker’s suspension, the AEW president spoke of how excited he is for Baker’s match against Mercedes Mone at AEW All In.

“Britt Baker has been on the show just this week,” Khan responded. “I think Britt Baker is fantastic and it’s been so great having Dr. Britt Baker DMD back in AEW and she’s chasing the CEO.”

“I think at AEW All In coming up this Sunday the DMD vs. the CEO for the TBS title at AEW All In at Wembley, it’s going to be a fantastic match. To me, Mercedes vs. Britt Baker is one of those dream matches that I’ve wanted to see for a long time before they worked in the same company. It’s one of those matches that you never thought you’d get to see and it’s happening at Wembley Stadium this Sunday. It’s going to be a great, great match and it’s been a great rivalry that’s unfolded on AEW television.”

Also during the interview, Khan wore a baseball cap featuring the logo of WBD’s streaming service, Max. Khan said he was given the hat by Warner Brothers Discovery when he was in Paris recently for the Olympics.

“I was given this hat and it’s a lovely hat and I think it’s a wonderful streaming service. This hat was gifted to me in Paris as part of a great backpack of stuff that I had in my hotel room when I got there for the Olympics and I spent a great time there with Mr. David Zaslav and all the great people at Warner Brothers Discovery. They were very kind to us.”
