Toni Storm’s CMLL debut postponed due to Hurricane Milton

Due to travel issues caused by Hurricane Milton, Toni Storm won’t be making her CMLL debut this Friday night.

Storm was scheduled for a match against La Catalina at Arena Mexico on October 11, but Storm’s flight out of Florida was canceled due to the hurricane and a new flight was not able to be secured. CMLL issued a statement stressing that the match will still happen at a future date that will be announced in the coming days.

“We are working hard with all parties involved to coordinate a new date that allows our fans to enjoy this long-awaited match,” the statement said. “We regret any inconvenience this rescheduling may cause and appreciate your understanding and continued support.”

Storm is currently on hiatus from AEW programming after dropping the AEW Women’s World Championship to Mariah May at All In. In a media interview last month, Storm said that she would like her rematch against May to take place at AEW’s Australia debut in February 2025.

Recently, Storm was in Japan to work her first matches for Stardom since 2019. That included unsuccessfully challenging Mayu Iwatani for the IWGP Women’s Championship.

La Catalina will now wrestle in a tag match at Friday’s CMLL event, teaming with Samantha Black against Zeuxis & Dark Silueta.
