TNT, Tag Team Titles to be defended on next AEW Dynamite

With less than a month to go before Fyter Fest, several of AEW’s top stars will be in action next week on Dynamite with an eye toward being on that event.

In an AEW World tag team title match, Kenny Omega and Hangman Page will look to defend the belts against the Natural Nightmares (Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall). The Nightmares are 5-0 as a team but have had some recent issues with internal strife due to The Bunny and Marshall’s recent union. Omega and Page will be looking for the fifth defense of their titles.

Also in action:

• Cody will defend the TNT title against an opponent to be named.
• Young Bucks vs. Superbad Death Squad (Kip Sabian and Jimmy Havoc):On Wednesday’s show, Sabian and Havoc got involved in a brawl between several tag teams, including the Bucks, following FTR’s win over The Butcher & The Blade.
• Le Sex Gods vs. Best Friends: Former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho will team with Sammy Guevara to take on Trent and Chuck Taylor with the Friends’ title shot at Fyter Fest on the line. Ortiz, Santana and Jake Hager lost to Best Friends and Orange Cassidy on Wednesday’s show and Jericho led an attack after the match, busting open Cassidy with his baseball bat and a bag of oranges.
• MJF vs. Billy: MJF cut off a ringside interview Tony Schiavone was attempting to do with Billy and things got physical when MJF insulted his son, Austin. This will be MJF’s first singles match since Double or Nothing when he defeated Jungle Boy while the former Billy Gunn is 1-1 in AEW singles competition, last defeating John Skyler on the May 27th Dark.
