Thunder Rosa attacks Julia Hart & Skye Blue on AEW Collision Winter is Coming

Thunder Rosa has made her return to AEW television.

After Abadon defeated Jazmine Allure on Saturday’s show, Julia Hart appeared. Abadon attacked Hart and grabbed the title, but was attacked by Skye Blue as she made her way to the ring. Thunder Rosa, who was shown earlier in the night doing Spanish commentary, left her position and made the save standing with Abadon and shaking their hand as the segment ended.

It was later announced that she would be making her in-ring return on next week’s Collision, where she will team with Abadon to take on Skye Blue and Julia Hart.

Rosa has been out of action since August of 2022, vacating the AEW Women’s Championship due to a back injury. Toni Storm and Jamie Hayter went on to win the championship in the next three months, with AEW eventually announcing last November that Rosa was no longer recognized as the Women’s Champion and both Storm and Hayter’s runs with the title would retroactively be considered lineal title wins.

Earlier this month, Rosa told News 4 in San Antonio that she was ready to return to the ring.

“I am ready. Whenever (I get) that call and, you know, my boss says ‘It’s time for you to return,” she said. “I am super excited and I can not wait to show to the world and all you fans that have been supporting all this time that I am ready and I have a lot more to give.”
