Three matches, three promos announced for AEW Collision


Three matches and three promo segments have been announced for the Saturday, September 9 episode of AEW Collision.
The Grand Slam World title eliminator tournament will continue on Saturday’s live episode with a pair of semifinals matches.
In one semifinal bout, Roderick Strong will take on Darby Allin. Strong defeated Trent Beretta in the quarterfinals on Wednesday’s Dynamite to advance, while Allin defeated Nick Wayne in the Dynamite main event to punch his ticket to the semifinals.
Saturday’s other semifinals match will feature the winners of the two remaining quarterfinals matches set for Friday’s Rampage show, with the winner of Samoa Joe vs. Jeff Hardy taking on the winner of Penta El Zero Miedo vs. Jay Lethal.
The Grand Slam tournament finals are set for the September 13 Dynamite, with the winner challenging MJF for the AEW World title at Dynamite Grand Slam on September 20.
The third match announced for Collision will feature Bullet Club Gold’s Jay White, Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, & Colten Gunn in action.
Women’s Champion Saraya and fellow Outcasts member Ruby Soho will also speak on Saturday’s show.
In addition, promos from Bryan Danielson, plus Trios Champions The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn are also set for the episode.
Saturday’s Collision will air live at 8 p.m. Eastern time on TNT from Cleveland, Ohio.
