The Acclaimed earn future Tag Team title shot on AEW Dynamite
The Acclaimed are next in line to challenge for the AEW Tag Team Championship.
Max Caster & Anthony Bowens of The Acclaimed defeated Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson of The Young Bucks on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite in a Tag Team title eliminator bout to earn a future shot at the belts.
No date has been set for the future title match.
The Acclaimed are former Tag Team Champions, holding the belts for 140 days from September 2022 to February 2023.
The Young Bucks are in the midst of their record third reign as AEW Tag Team Champions after winning the vacant titles in a ladder match against FTR at Dynasty in April.
In all, 11 teams have held AEW’s Tag Team titles across 14 reigns since their inception in 2019.
