Takeshita vs. Limelight, full card announced for AEW Dark: Elevation
DDT standout Konosuke Takeshita will make his televised AEW debut as he faces Danny Limelight on Monday’s AEW Dark: Elevation.
On Friday, the four-time KO-D Champion was a surprise part of an eight-man tag team match at AEW’s first-ever house show, teaming with AEW World Champion Kenny Omega, Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks and Michael Nakazawa in a losing effort to Death Triangle and the Sydal Brothers.
Dave Meltzer noted Friday that Takeshita is taking a break from the Japanese scene and is scheduled on a few more shows.
Limelight is currently on a two match losing streak in AEW.
