Tag Team title number one contender’s match booked for AEW Collision
A number one contenders match for the AEW Tag Team Championship is set for this Saturday’s Collision.
In a match booked by on-screen authority figure Christopher Daniels on Wednesday’s Dynamite, The Acclaimed will face FTR on the August 17 Collision episode with the winners going on to All In to challenge The Young Bucks for the AEW Tag Team titles.
The match stems from the Tag Team title bout on Dynamite with The Bucks defending against The Acclaimed, where FTR interfered to cost The Acclaimed their shot after Dax Harwood attacked Matthew Jackson.
The title defense on Dynamite was the first for The Bucks since winning the vacant Tag Team Championship in April. The Young Bucks are the first and only three-time AEW Tag Team Champions. FTR have held the AEW Tag titles twice, while The Acclaimed have held the belts once.
