Tag Team title match added to next week’s AEW Dynamite

Lucha Brothers will defend their AEW Tag Team titles against Jurassic Express on next Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite debut on TBS.

On Wednesday’s Dynamite, both the champions, Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus and Christian Cage were on the same side of a ten-man tag team match when dissention between Cage and Penta El Zero Miedo cost them the win. Later in a backstage promo, an angered Cage made the challenge on behalf of Jurassic Express for the match.

Jurassic Express are 0-2 in their careers when challenging for the titles while Lucha Brothers will be looking for the fifth defense of the belts.

Brian Pillman Jr. will look to gain a measure of revenge for Varsity Blonds partner Griff Garrison when he takes on Malakai Black. Pillman Jr. challenged Black Wednesday as he attempts to avenge the honor of Julia Hart who Black sprayed in the face with black mist several weeks ago. Garrison was unable to defeat Black on last week’s Dynamite and Pillman Jr. came out to his partner’s defense after the match.

Those matches join the rematch between AEW World Champion Hangman Page and Bryan Danielson and the TBS title tournament final between Jade Cargill and Ruby Soho.
