Tag team match added to AEW Dynamite
A new tag team match has been added to Dynamite.
Tony Khan announced Friday that Hangman Page will team up with Christian Cage to face Juice Robinson and Jay White.
“At war vs Bang Bang Gang, Hangman Page will team up for the first time ever with his only apparent ally: Christian Cage On WEDNESDAY!,” Khan wrote.
Hangman has continued his feud with the Bang Bang Gang after White scored a victory over Hangman at WrestleDream last month. On this week’s Dynamite, Hangman jumped White during an interview and the two brawled, with Robinson making the save. White cut a promo after the altercation promising to dismantle Hangman at Full Gear.
Christian Cage in recent weeks has been targeting Hook, recently revealing that it was him that attacked Taz several weeks ago. After saying he wished his father was dead, Hook attempted to go after Cage, who managed to escape as Hook laid out security.
The card for next week’s Dynamite:
- Konosuke Takeshita vs. Adam Cole – if Cole wins, he earns match against MJF at Full Gear
- Hangman Page & Christian Cage vs. Jay White and Juice Robinson
- Mina Shirakawa returns
