Tag team match added to AEW Dynamite

A women’s tag team match has been added to tomorrow’s episode of Dynamite.

Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander will team up to take on AEW Women’s champion Nyla Rose and Britt Baker, according to a post from AEW President Tony Khan. This follows a fatal four way match that took place last week, where Hikaru Shida defeated Statlander, Baker, and Penelope Ford.

Two matches were made for this Sunday’s Double or Nothing as a result of that match. Shida is now the number one contender for Rose’s AEW Women’s title, while Kris Statlander and Britt Baker will face off. Commentary mentioned during the fatal four way match that Baker seemed more interested in hurting Statlander than actually winning the match.

Already announced for tomorrow is Sammy Guevara vs. Matt Hardy, Jon Moxley vs. 10 (a member of the Dark Order), MJF vs. Marko Stunt, Matt Hardy vs. Sammy Guevara, and Orange Cassidy vs. Fenix. Additionally, Jake Roberts and Arn Anderson will meet in a face-to-face interview.
