Swerve vs. PAC, Thunder Rosa vs. Kris Statlander set for AEW Dynamite
Two matches have been announced for AEW Dynamite.
The follow-up to Dynasty will feature Kris Statlander taking on Thunder Rosa in a quarterfinal match of the women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament. Toni Storm, who retained the AEW Women’s Championship on Sunday, will be on commentary. Storm previously mentioned she would be at Dynamite to observe the participants in the tournament that will decide her All In opponent.
Swerve Strickland will be in action, taking on PAC. Strickland was unsuccessful in winning back the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley, who had help from not only the Death Riders, but the returning Young Bucks. PAC, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta were successful in retaining the Trios titles against Rated FTR.
Yuta & Castagnoli will also be in action Wednesday, taking on Samoa Joe and Hook of The Ops. The former, along with Katsuyori Shibata, attempted to even the odds during the Strickland/Moxley match by brawling with the rest of the Death Riders to the back.
