‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey coming soon vignette airs on AEW Collision

During Saturday’s AEW Collision, AEW officially announced the impending arrival of former TNA X-Division Champion “Speedball” Mike Bailey.
As the show was previously taped, a specially produced vignette aired hyping Bailey’s long-awaited debut with the company.
It was rumored that Bailey was set to sign with AEW after his TNA deal expired, but it was unclear as to why he hadn’t appeared yet with acquiring a working visa speculated as a possible reason.
Bailey’s contract with TNA expired at the end of last year with his final match taped last October that aired in early-November where he lost the X-Division Championship to reigning title-holder Moose.
In the months following his departure from TNA, the 34-year-old remained active in the ring, competing for Scott D’Amore’s Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling in Canada, where he continued to showcase his elite skills against top-tier talent like current International Champion Konosuke Takeshita, GCW and Deadlock Pro where he and Jake Something lost their Tag Team titles in early-December.
