Spears vs. Daniels part of 16-match AEW Dark lineup
AEW continues to be aggressive with the amount of matches on Dark, rolling out a 16-match lineup for this week that will feature five competitors in the upcoming World title no. 1 contender tourney.
In one tourney preview, Penta El Zero M will face QT Marshall (w/Dustin Rhodes) while Rey Fenix takes on Sonny Kiss (w/Joey Janela). The Lucha Bros will face each other in the opening round Wednesday.
Looking at the other end of the bracket, Jungle Boy (w/Luchasaurus) will face the debuting KTB, a GCW mainstay who was last seen at the Spring Break 4 show last weekend. Jungle Boy’s tournament opponent, Wardlow, will look to extend a seven-match winning streak against the debuting Vinny Pacifico.
Finally, Colt Cabana, who goes against Hangman Page in the tourney, will face BSHP King.
In another featured match, Shawn Spears (w/Tully Blanchard) will take on Christopher Daniels of SCU. Spears has been stalking SCU teammate Scorpio Sky as of late and Daniels is looking to put Spears in his place on behalf of his partner who is in also in Dark action against Fuego Del Sol.
