Skye Blue seen with leg in cast following AEW Collision injury
Skye Blue is recovering at home after suffering an injury on AEW Collision last night.
Blue’s match against Hikaru Shida was stopped early when she could no longer continue after taking a high cross from Shida on the outside. The referee checked on her and called for the doctor. When the show returned from commercial, Shida was declared the winner via referee’s stoppage.
“Early word is Skye Blue might have broken her ankle on Collision,” our own Bryan Alvarez would later post to his subscribers on X.
Blue’s partner, Kyle Fletcher, posted to social media on Sunday that Blue had returned home. She can be seen with her leg in a cast in the photo.
Blue was coming off a win over Harley Cameron on the previous week’s Collision. She’d also unsuccessfully challenged Mercedes Mone for the TBS title in May when AEW ran a show at the KIA Forum in Los Angeles.
