Skye Blue officially signs with AEW

Skye Blue is officially All Elite.

Shortly before Friday’s live edition of AEW Rampage, Tony Khan confirmed on Twitter that Blue has been signed to the company.

“Some great news for Easter Weekend: One of @AEW’s rising homegrown stars @Skyebyee is officially All Elite! Wishing everyone the best on Good Friday!,” Khan wrote.

Blue started training in 2017, working in the Illinois independent scene. She started to appear on AEW shows in 2021, losing to Britt Baker on the April 7 edition of AEW Dark Elevation. After her match against Red Velvet on the September 3 edition of AEW Dark, she was invited by Tony Khan to compete in the Casino Battle Royal two days later at All Out that was eventually won by Ruby Soho.

After All Out, Blue started to make more appearances for the company. Last year, she competed in the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s tournament, losing to Jamie Hayter in a qualifying match. Her most recent match on Dynamite was on March 22, losing to Toni Storm.
