Shingo Takagi, PAC declare for AEW Owen Hart Foundation tournament
PAC and NJPW’s Shingo Takagi are entering the Owen Hart Cup.
A video aired on Dynamite showing Takagi talking about being ready to enter the Owen Hart Cup this year.
Prior to the main event, PAC talked about the recent losses he has taken since returning from injury, saying it has been humiliating. He said it ends now, as he is entering the Owen Hart Cup. He said he would win the touranment and claim the AEW World title at Wembley Stadium.
The only other person who has declared in the men’s tournament is Bryan Danielson. For the women’s tournament Willow Nightingale, Kris Statlander, and Mariah May have all declared.
This year’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup does not have a start date, but the finals will take place at the Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on the July 10 edition of Dynamite. Dr. Martha Hart will present trophies to the winners of the tournaments, and the winners will also earn World title matches that will take place at All In on August 25 in London, England.
