Saturday afternoon episode draws lowest viewership in AEW Collision history

Saturday afternoon’s AEW Collision episode averaged 189,000 viewers on TNT, down 50.5 percent from the previous week. It’s the lowest audience total in the history of the show. The previous low was when Collision went head-to-head with WWE Royal Rumble this January and averaged 300,000 viewers.
In the 18-49 demo, Collision drew a 0.08 rating. That’s the second-lowest rating in show history, only beating the 0.06 that Collision drew against the Royal Rumble.
Collision did not go head-to-head with the WWE SummerSlam main card on Saturday. The episode (which was taped in advance) was moved to an earlier time slot, airing at 5 p.m. Eastern opposite the SummerSlam pre-show. Collision also went head-to-head with coverage of the Olympics on USA Network, NBC, and Peacock as well as a UFC event on ABC.
As compared to the same week in 2023, Collision was down 54.7 percent in overall viewers and down 38.5 percent in 18-49.
