Sammy Guevara stretchered out of Ring of Honor taping

Sammy Guevara suffered an injury at Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite and Ring of Honor taping and was stretchered from the ring.
PWInsider first reported that Guevara was seemingly knocked out in a bout with Serpentico being filmed for future Ring of Honor programming prior to Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite in Pittsburgh.
Guevara reportedly went for a cutter to counter a top rope attack from Serpentico, but the spot was mistimed and Serpentico landed on Guevara’s face. Bryce Remsburg was the referee for the contest and stopped the match, giving the victory to Serpentico.
Medical staff treated Guevara in the ring, then he was stretchered out.
Dave Meltzer posted that Guevara was believed to have suffered a concussion, but that was not confirmed:
The Guevara injury was one of two at the Ring of Honor taping. PWInsider also reports that independent talent Kelly Madan was knocked unconscious during a match with Lady Frost taped for ROH.
The report states that after Madan was knocked unconscious, the ring ropes were loosened to allow a back board to be brought into the ring, and Madan was also stretchered out.
