Ryan Nemeth says “a literal billionaire” sent someone to sue him just before he walked onstage for his off-Broadway debut.

Nemeth is currently suing AEW, Tony Khan, and CM Punk alleging assault and breach of contract stemming from a backstage altercation with Punk in June 2023. According to Nemeth’s new bio on X, however, he was informed of a lawsuit against him recently.

“Raise your hand if a literal billionaire sent someone to sue you 4 minutes before you walked onstage for your off-Broadway debut play this weekend,” reads Nemeth’s bio.

Nemeth performed as the celebrity headliner for “Street Fighting Knock Out!” at The Hellenic Cultural Center NYC on Friday, March 21, and Saturday, March 22. The show is part murder mystery and part tribute to the popular Street Fighter video game series. A description of the show reads, “Get ready for another great whodunit murder mystery, “STREET FIGHTING KNOCK OUT!,” where the greatest fighters in the world gather at a tournament, only to have to truly defend themselves when a killer is exposed amongst them!”

Nemeth is currently active in TNA Wrestling alongside his brother Nic. He dropped a TNA World Championship match in his last bout against Joe Hendry when TNA was at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, last month. The match aired on the March 13 episode.
