ROH crowns TV title eliminator tournament winner

There is a new number one contender to Samoa Joe’s Ring of Honor World Television Championship.
Shane Taylor defeated Gravity in the finals of the TV title eliminator tournament on Thursday’s Ring of Honor TV episode to earn the next shot at Samoa Joe’s TV title.
Taylor defeated Serpentico, Christopher Daniels, and Gravity en route to winning the TV title eliminator tournament, and now awaits a match against Joe. No date has been set for Joe’s next TV title defense.
Among his career accolades, Taylor is a former ROH TV Champion, holding the title for seven months in 2019. Taylor is also a former ROH Six-Man Tag Team title holder.
Samoa Joe’s current TV title reign stretches back to April 2022 when he defeated Minoru Suzuki to win the belt, and is the second-longest reign in the history of the title.
Joe will be in tag team action with Stokely Hathaway against The Boys on next week’s Ring of Honor TV, and has challenged CM Punk to match at the Sunday, August 27 AEW All In pay-per-view at Wembley Stadium in London.
