Riho’s return announced for AEW Rampage


Riho’s return will be part of this week’s AEW Rampage lineup.
AEW’s Tony Khan announced on social media on Tuesday that Riho, a former Women’s World Champion, will have her first AEW match of 2024 on Friday’s Rampage episode against Trish Adora.
Riho was last seen in AEW at the Worlds End pay-per-view on December 30, 2023 where she dropped a Women’s World title match to Toni Storm.
A pair of CMLL wrestlers are also set to appear on Friday’s Rampage.
Blackpool Combat Club’s Claudio Castagnoli will go one-on-one with CMLL’s Rugido on Friday’s episode. Also announced, Matt Sydal will take on CMLL’s Magnus.
This week’s Rampage was taped last Saturday in Springfield, Missouri as part of the AEW Collision taping. A match with Lance Archer & The Righteous teaming against an enhancement talent trio was also taped for the show.
