Riho returns on AEW Dynamite, confronts Toni Storm


Riho has returned to AEW, making it clear she wants next in line for the AEW Women’s title.
After Toni Storm successfully defended the title Wednesday against Skye Blue, Riho made her return to the company after being gone for nearly six months. Storm went to attack Riho but was dropkicked out of the ring and eventually was saved by her butler Luther.

Riho last appeareed in a dark match prior to the June 14 edition of Dynamite, where she, Maki Itoh, and Abadon defeated Emi Sakura, Marina Shafir, and Nyla Rose. Prior to that, she had lost a Women’s Championship match against then-champion Jamie Hayter on the April 5 edition of Dynamite.
Storm defeated Hikaru Shida to become a three-time AEW Women’s Champion at Full Gear last month. She has undergone a transformation in recent months, now being billed as ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm, portraying herself as a movie star from early Hollywood. Prior to her match, she was introduced by Turner Classic Movies host Ben Mankiewicz.
