Ricochet vs. The Beast Mortos added to AEW Dynamite
A new match has been added to AEW Dynamite.
Tony Khan announced Tuesday night that The Beast Mortos would face off against Ricochet in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
“After he was blindsided last Wednesday by Beast Mortos, Ricochet will aim for revenge tomorrow on Wednesday Night Dynamite!,” Khan wrote.
On last week’s Dynamite, Ricochet had defeated Sammy Guevara in a match when Mortos came out and speared Ricochet. Guevara grabbed a chair and made the save, helping Ricochet to his feet as Mortos retreated.
Ricochet has been racking up wins since making his AEW debut at All In last month, defeating Guevara last week and Kyle Fletcher the week before. It has been teased in recent weeks that the endgame for Ricochet may be an International title match against Will Ospreay, playing off of their Best of the Super Juniors match from years ago.
