Ricky Starks wins AEW Dynamite Diamond Battle Royal

Ricky Starks won the Dynamite Diamond Battle, earning a shot at MJF’s Dynamite Diamond Ring at next week’s Winter is Coming edition of Dynamite.

Starks last eliminated Ethan Page to win the battle royal. In addition to the diamond ring, the match between Starks and MJF will also be for the AEW World Heavyweight title.

Following the match, MJF’s music immediately hit as he came to the ring and addressed Starks. MJF referred to Starks as “The Pebble” and a “dollar store Dwayne”. MJF also mentioned that he would send Starks back to “Billy Corgan’s NWA on YouTube”. Starks called him “Maxi Pad”, running down his appearance and knocked MJF for using cheap heat. MJF countered by low blowing Starks and aiming to strike him with the diamond ring. Instead, Starks ducked and hit a spear to close out the segment.

Other participants in the battle royal included Jungle Boy Jack Perry, Dustin Rhodes, Lee Moriarty, Orange Cassidy, Kip Sabian, Matt Hardy, The Butcher, Capt. Shawn Dean, Dalton Castle, and Brian Cage.
