Report: Former TNA creative team member RD Evans now working for AEW

RD Evans didn’t take long to find a new gig.
Evans resigned from his position at TNA Wrestling last month around the same time the company laid off Creative Director David Sahadi and Vice President of Marketing Lou D’Angeli. According to a report from PWInsider, Evans was backstage working for AEW at Collision on Saturday and is expected back at AEW Dynamite tonight. He was also reportedly working on backstage segments throughout the weekend as well.
Evans had been part of the TNA creative team since October 2019. Before that, he was a WWE creative team member from 2016 up until a famous backstage incident at the 2019 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. Vince McMahon is said to have been yelling at Evans after Bret Hart mentioned McMahon by name during his speech, which inductees are told not to do. Evans quit on the spot. He would later issue an official statement in regards to the incident on the same notes tab he keeps his grocery list:
Evans also portrayed the characters Archibald Peck and Mixed Martial Archie in ROH, Chikara, and other promotions during his in-ring career.
