Penelope Ford vs. Leyla Hirsch announced for AEW Dynamite
Leyla Hirsch will face Penelope Ford this Wednesday.
Hirsch’s new opponent was announced by TSN. Hirsch will replace Nyla Rose, who will not be attending the tapings as a precaution after coming into contact with an immediate family member that had tested positive for COVID-19.
Hirsch has made a few appearances on Dynamite, most recently losing to Britt Baker. In storyline, Ford is set to be married to Kip Sabian on the February 3 Beach Break edition of Dynamite. That storyline was continued last week when Chuck Taylor lost to Sabian’s best man, Miro. As a result, Taylor will now have to be Miro’s butler for the next month.
