Penelope Ford return part of nine-match AEW Dark: Elevation lineup

AEW has announced nine matches for Dark: Elevation. 

Hikaru Shida will team with Toni Storm and AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa on the show. They will take on Emi Sakura, Marina Shafir, and Nyla Rose in trios action. 

Penelope Ford makes her return to the ring as well and will face Heather Reckless in singles competition. Ford hasn’t wrestled since January. Tony Khan previously stated that she was not medically cleared but did not reveal further details regarding the nature of her injury. 

Other notable matches scheduled to air include the Acclaimed vs. Justin Fowler & JT Energy, Julia Hart vs. Free-Range Kara, and Serena Deeb vs. Sierra. 

AEW Dark: Elevation airs at 7 p.m Eastern time on YouTube. The show was filmed on Wednesday, August 10 from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The announced lineup is as follows:
