Owen Hart Tournament semifinals, Punk & Page confrontation set for next AEW Dynamite

The three remaining semifinal matches in both the men’s and women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournaments will take place on next Wednesday’s Double or Nothing go-home edition of AEW Dynamite.

On the men’s side, Samoa Joe will face Kyle O’Reilly after both men advanced Wednesday. Joe picked up a win over the debuting Johnny Elite (Morrison) while O’Reilly defeated Rey Fenix in their respective quarterfinals.

The winner will take on Adam Cole in the men’s Owen tournament final at Double or Nothing as Cole defeated Jeff Hardy in a semifinal match Wednesday.

On the women’s side, Britt Baker will take on Toni Storm in one semifinal while Ruby Soho awaits the winner of Friday’s Kris Statlander vs. Red Velvet quarterfinal. Baker advanced Wednesday with a win over the returning Maki Itoh.

AEW World Champion Hangman Page and CM Punk will have a face-to-face confrontation ahead of their title match at Double or Nothing.

Ahead of his not yet official match with MJF at Double or Nothing, Wardlow will take on Shawn Spears in a cage match with MJF as special referee.

In a three-way preview of the newly-announced Tag Team title match at Double or Nothing, it will be Jungle Boy vs. Swerve Strickland vs. Ricky Starks.

The show will also celebrate three years of AEW.
