Moxley return, Inner Circle three-way tag set for next AEW Dynamite

For the first time in a month and a half, Jon Moxley will return to the ring on next week’s live AEW Dynamite.

Moxley lost the title to Kenny Omega on the December 2nd Winter Is Coming Dynamite as part of an angle with Don Callis. He was off for several weeks and returned to do a promo on last week’s Dynamite, vowing revenge. He was later beat down by Omega and the Good Brothers and gained a measure of revenge during a massive brawl on Wednesday’s show.

Tag team wrestling will also be featured next week in three different matches:

• Chris Jericho and MJF vs. Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager vs. Santana and Ortiz: Billed as an Inner Circle Tag Team Challenge, this was made on Wednesday’s Dynamite as the group gave their New Year’s resolutions and began fighting about who would go for the Tag Team Titles. The winner will become the official tag team of the group.
• Hangman Page and Dark Order (Colt Cabana, Alex Reynolds, John Silver) vs. The Hybrid2 and Chaos Project: This eight-man tag match is a birthday celebration match for -1, aka Brodie Lee Jr.
• Matt Sydal and Top Flight vs. Matt Hardy and Private Party

Additionally, former AEW Women’s Champion Nyla Rose (w/ Vickie Guerrero) will face Leyla Hirsch and there will be an update from Miro and his new “butler” Chuck Taylor. Taylor lost to Miro Wednesday and is Miro’s servant until after Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford get married at Beach Break on February 3rd.
